The town on the mouth of the Labe River to the Vltava River (about 40 km from Prague). Yes, really – the Vltava River is in the mouth of Labe and Vltava rivers the wider and longer one. However Romans called the river on the German side Elbus and so the name Labe naturalized. During our visit, we will familiarize with the historical town from the time of the grandmother of the saint Wenceslas, Ludmila; we will visit the river-mouth surrounded with vineyards and taste of course also the local wine ‚Ludmila‘ – in a proper wine cellar from the 14th century. In case, we had time and concern enough, we can before the lunch visit also the interior of the castle. Inclusive:
