Český Krumlov

Český Krumlov –UNESCO- Pearl of South Bohemia about 180 km from Prague

We have a long day before us, when we want to discover Krumlov. On the road, there are also many things to see. For example the city of Hussites

Tábor, České Budějovice, the town of the best beer, the Hluboká castle, the castle of fairy tales of Schwarzenbergs and Holášovice – a village in the style of the rural Baroque, also listed in UNESCO-World heritage.

However, we ride first of all to Český Krumlov – UNESCO-city with a medieval atmosphere. It is a town, where the time seems to have stopped already 400 years ago. It is a picturesque town, which has always attracted numerous artists, having also partially their galleries in Krumlov.
It is a town with a castle on the rock above the Vltava River that is almost as large as a Prague castle. With its unique baroque theatre, with a fascinating renaissance tower and with its magical garden including the garden theatre. I think that we visit the other showplaces on the way only in passing.

(Variant: Český Krumlov is all in the shadows, what we got to see on the way).

I am looking forward to be able to spend all the long day with you.
